Addepar's API documentation is public, but keys come from a client firm's administrator, who creates a key and secret inside Addepar. Limits are 50 requests per 15 minutes and 1,000 per 24 hours at the firm level; development environments are available through your Addepar contact.

What the docs don't say
- The public docs state no webhooks and publish no OpenAPI file.
- The docs are open to read, but a key needs an Addepar firm account with API access permission; a third-party developer has to ask a client firm's administrator.
- Addepar's own pages describe its MCP server as a beta with a waitlist.
