eMoney's APIs use certificate-based authentication: you give eMoney an X.509 certificate and receive an admin-level ID. The published rate limit is 60 concurrent calls, with 250 calls per hour on Monte Carlo endpoints. Third-party integration requests go through eMoney's review and are not guaranteed approval.

“submitting a request does not guarantee approval or immediate access to integrate”

Note
Third-party integration requests are reviewed by eMoney. The planning API reference (developer.emoneyadvisor.com/planning/reference) redirected to a sign-in page on 2026-10-17, so endpoint detail is behind an account. research/03 listed it as an open reference; the live page disagrees.
